Born in the Netherlands but raised in Wellington, New Zealand. I have always had a strong interest in sewing as my mother was a keen sewer. My first quilt, a baby quilt for my nephew 20 years ago was the start of my quilting journey. Family has always played an important part of our lives especially being immigrants in a foreign country and so it is always a blessing to be able to make quilts for special events like my family weddings.
Now that we are living in Singapore, there are new sights, new cultures and plenty of inspiration for new quilts. Watch this space!
